Mantis Samurai is something of a personal project of mine, my own Star Wars if you will, spawned out of a contest a few years ago (Dominance war IV) you can check out the design here in case you forgot: [link]

It's constantly evolving in my head and taking shape slowly...who knows what the future holds, but it's all about the journey as they say.

Done in Photoshop start to finish, used some leaf brush i found on the internet, though there's hardly any trace left

I absolutely love the contrasts here. Some of my favorite works are those with a dark contrast in the background. It adds a certain note of surrealism for me. Very, very nice work. Very nice gallery.
